The infamous Marine Pacific windbreaker
Posted by DJ Balance | Filed under Uncategorized
This is what the fuss is all about. The infamous “Marine Pacific” windbreaker from the S/S 09 “Yachting Club” line. I honestly like this piece. The colors are a little loud, and the only time I’d be able to rock this properly would be outside of work. It’s still a solid jacket, but I wouldn’t pay the $300 price tag. I’ll wait for it to hit the sales rack.

Sana helped me as I was shopping for a new cardigan for work, when we discovered this jacket. I bought both pieces, and better yet, they were on sale.

Home-made and freshly prepared nachos for Movie Night. We watched The Wackness. Great flick. The soundtrack brought back some good memories of 90’s Hip-Hop.
Air Jordan I Hares

Some fresh retro I’s for 2009. Based off the Jordan VII “Hares” colorway and slated to release April 11th, 2009. How appropriate for Easter weekend. I’ve had problems fitting into Dunks, so I’m wondering if my wide feet can fit into these (I’ve never owned a pair of I’s). Can’t wait to see these in person.

What’s the hype about Asher Roth?
Posted by DJ Balance | Filed under Uncategorized
I was browsing Nahright and this Asher Roth dude was almost on every page. Being curious, I watched a few of his videos. to see what the hype was about. So supposedly this dude was discovered on Myspace and was signed by Steve Rifkind of SRC/Universal records (who previously ran Loud Records). He’s the first white rapper ever to do a DJ Drama Gangsta Grillz mixtape and he’s constantly being compared to Em.
Honestly, the dude’s decent but I don’t think he’s amazing. I like the “I Love College” video. Makes me wish I would’ve actually done the whole University experience, like living in the dorms and going to huge frat parties.
